Job Title: Server / Bartender – MY HOUSE Lounge & Events Company: MY HOUSE Lounge & Events Location: 2882 Dundas Street West, Toronto, ON (The Junction) Job Type: Part-Time | Evenings & Weekends Schedule: Wednesday – Saturday, 6PM onward, Sundays, 11AM Brunch through Early Dinner. About MY HOUSE MY HOUSE Lounge & Events is Toronto's Junction neighbourhood gem, a vintage Hollywood glamour-inspired private event space, restaurant, lounge, and live entertainment venue. We host everything from intimate dinners to full venue buyouts, live music nights, and burlesque performances. Every detail of our space, from the antique furnishings to the curated menu, is intentional. We are looking for a Server / Bartender who brings genuine warmth, professionalism, and a love of hospitality to every shift. What You'll Do - Welcome and seat guests with warmth and attentiveness, setting the tone for their experience from the moment they arrive - Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into our point-of-sale system with efficiency and care - Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring every plate and glass is presented to our standard - Stay knowledgeable about our current menu, seasonal features, and event programming so you can speak confidently with guests and maximize upselling opportunities - Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the dining room, bar, and service stations throughout your shift - Support closing procedures and end-of-night standards with consistency and accountability - Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth, timely service - Handle guest concerns with professionalism, composure, and genuine care - Process payments accurately and close out transactions correctly - Assist with food preparation as needed, in compliance with food safety standards What We're Looking For - Previous experience in a restaurant, lounge, or event venue is preferred, but a strong attitude and eagerness to learn will be considered - Excellent interpersonal skills, you are personable, attentive, and skilled under pressure - Solid understanding of food safety practices and safe food handling - Comfort working in a fast-paced, atmosphere-forward environment where attention to detail matters - Bartending experience is an asset; willingness to learn and step behind the bar is essential - Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, our operating hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 6PM, Sundays from 11AM. - Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain prior to first shift) Why MY HOUSE - A one-of-a-kind venue with a distinctive identity, no two nights are the same - A team that takes hospitality seriously and holds itself to a high standard - A supportive environment led by an owner with 30+ years of hospitality experience - Opportunities to grow across service, events, and live entertainment programming To Apply Submit your résumé through Indeed.
