Overview We are seeking a talented and personable Hairdresser to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and delivering exceptional customer service. The Hairdresser will be responsible for providing skilled hair styling services, maintaining high standards of sanitation, and promoting retail products to enhance client satisfaction. Responsibilities - Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences - Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas in accordance with health regulations - Upsell retail products to clients to support their hair care routines and increase sales - Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments - Communicate effectively with clients to ensure a positive experience and foster repeat business - Stay updated on current hair trends and techniques through ongoing education and training Requirements - Proven experience in hair styling and salon services - Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients - Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards in a salon environment - Excellent communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration - Ability to upsell retail products naturally during service interactions - Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred - Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a passion for the beauty industry Join our team and help clients look and feel their best while advancing your career in a supportive salon setting.
