Escape Room Host / Game Master (Toronto)

Looking Glass Adventures – Toronto, ON (Danforth Ave) Pay: Starting at $17.60/hour Do you love people, puzzles, and creating memorable experiences? We're looking for energetic, dependable, and outgoing individuals to join our team as Game Masters. As the face of our escape room, you'll welcome Guests, guide them through their adventures, host birthday parties and events, and help create unforgettable experiences for families, friends, and various groups. This is a highly interactive role. If you enjoy performing, problem-solving, and making people smile, you'll fit right in. Availability Requirements This position requires flexible availability, including: - Evenings - Weekends - Holidays - Occasional on-call shifts Shifts may be scheduled Monday through Sunday between 9:00 AM and midnight. What You'll Do - Guest Experience - Welcome and check in Guests - Deliver engaging game introductions - Monitor escape room experiences and provide hints when needed - Ensure every group has an exceptional experience - Handle Guest questions and resolve concerns professionally Party & Event Hosting - Host children's birthday parties - Facilitate corporate events and group bookings - Create a fun, safe, and organized atmosphere for Guests of all ages Operations - Reset rooms and puzzles between games - Answer phones, emails, and booking inquiries - Open and close the venue when scheduled - Assist with cleaning and venue upkeep - Help maintain and repair props, puzzles, and game elements We're Looking For Someone Who Is - Friendly, confident, and comfortable speaking to groups - Dependable and punctual - Excellent with customer service - A strong communicator - Able to work independently when required - Calm under pressure and able to multitask - Willing to learn basic prop maintenance and repairs - Passionate about creating great experiences Preferred Qualifications - Customer service experience - Experience working with children, camps, events, or entertainment venues - Experience in theatre, performance, public speaking, or hospitality is an asset Perks - Casual dress - Flexible scheduling - Staff discounts - Company events - Fun and unique work environment - Opportunities to learn event hosting and entertainment skills Location Looking Glass Adventures Toronto, ON M4C 1M5 Applicants must be able to reliably commute to our Danforth location.
