We are offering the opportunity to work with our team of dedicated consultants, and we are looking for you. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about financial modelling and business analytics while working with Canadas largest IT consulting firm. We are offering a chance to work with our team of experienced professionals, who are responsible for maintaining the standards of project management and providing high-value support to our Business Unit. This is your prospect to learn about business operations and project management in a sophisticated business environment. You will work with CGI Consultants, Directors and Executives on a full range of business operations, program management and resourcing activities/tasks. In an effort to foster collaboration and partner with clients, co-op students will be required to be in the office multiple times a week. Start Date: September Application deadline: June 2nd, Work term length: 4 months Participate in a week of onboarding and integration activities starting on your first day at CGI, activities include: - Business etiquette workshop - Foundations of business consulting workshops - Developing your elevator pitch workshop - Networking with peers across Canada CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-32/hour. This role is an existing vacancy. Your future duties and responsibilities: Monitor production applications, services, and scheduled jobs to ensure uptime and performance Perform root cause analysis and document findings for recurring issues Maintain and update runbooks, knowledge base articles, and operational documentation Collaborate with development teams to reproduce defects and verify fixes Assist with automation of routine support tasks using scripts or internal tools Communicate status updates clearly to internal teams and stakeholders Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related co op program Strong understanding of operating systems (Linux/Windows) and basic networking concepts Familiarity with SQL for querying and analyzing data Experience with at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Power Shell, etc.) Ability to troubleshoot issues logically and methodically Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and reliability Skills: Production Support Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pkdsd
