Bartender/server Toronto

Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining the bar area, serving food and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. Must be willing to work flexible hours and have decent and flexible availability. Weekends required. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Process transactions accurately using the POS system, including handling cash and credit card payments. Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations while serving drinks. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Uphold high standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times. Skills Solid knowledge of bartending techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Experience in cashiering and handling cash transactions efficiently. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations. Effective time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented workplace within the food industry or restaurant setting. Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing and payment handling.
