Job Summary

CSA Group has an immediate opportunity for a Project Manager, Construction and Infrastructure Standards based in Toronto. In this challenging and rewarding role, you will facilitate the development of leading‑edge standards solutions while interacting with industry experts, manufacturers, academia, researchers, scientists and government officials. The Construction and Infrastructure team manages a portfolio of standards and codes that support the evolution of Canada’s built environment, covering modular construction, climate change mitigation, adaptation, resiliency and circular construction. Responsibilities

Manage standards development activities and oversee all aspects of assigned projects. Facilitate development of standards by CSA Group volunteer committee members, including convening in‑person and virtual committee meetings. Establish and actively manage project scope of work, processes, schedules, costs, quality and risk. Perform day‑to‑day management of committee activities, preparing and maintaining records such as meeting agendas and minutes. Liaise with internal and external partners—including clients, management, legal and finance—to develop contracts and proposals. Identify, secure and drive recent business opportunities for standardization. Participate in occasional ad‑hoc internal task groups (e.g., related to business or process improvement, research). Education & Experience

Technologist or Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as engineering or business management. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in standards development and/or project management in mechanical and industrial equipment, construction and civil infrastructure, or the circular economy and/or environment and climate change. Knowledge of the standards industry, government policy, and the industry landscape is an asset. Skills

Excellent interpersonal skills—including relationship building, facilitation, networking, and negotiation with stakeholders at all levels. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent project management, organizational and planning skills. Strong leadership and decision‑making abilities. Experience writing proposals and business plans. High degree of self‑motivation, resilience, adaptability, and flexibility. Team‑player orientation with a focus on building the capacity of peers. Computer proficiency. Proficiency in French will be given special consideration. Travel & Requirements

Travel up to 15% may be required. Compensation

The typical hiring range for this position is

$86,160 – $100,000 CAD

gross annually, depending on education, licenses, certifications and experience. Permanent employees may be eligible for the annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements. Equal Opportunity Employer
