Outcome Solutions Architect Manager II, Google Cloud Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role. Experience in leadership (e.g., people management, team lead, mentorship, coaching). Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms. Experience leading technical conversations, demos, prototyping, or workshops with customers. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time as needed. Preferred qualifications: Experience with software life-cycles, building tools, and developing software for distributed systems (e.g., data platform, AI/ML, infrastructure). Experience as a pre-sales manager or technical customer‑facing people manager within a professional services or sales engineering team. Experience managing a team through pre‑sales processes and career development (e.g., account mapping, quota setting, performance management, managing information). Experience driving delivery and consumption plans for cross‑functional cloud solutions. Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders. Responsibilities Lead a team of Outcome Technical Sales Specialists, focusing on team culture, strategy, and skills development to deliver cloud outcomes for customers and accelerate value realization. Balance technical leadership with operational excellence, support team’s progress against delivery plans to drive the initial and ongoing ramp of workloads. Develop customer executive relationships and act as a partner on cloud, transformation implementation, expansion opportunities, and escalations. Work cross‑functionally across Google, partners, and your team to resolve technical roadblocks including capacity needs and constraints and product problems affecting customer satisfaction.
