Experienced Speech Language Pathologist Needed (Toronto)

Join the team at Michael Garron Hospital as an experienced Speech Language Pathologist specializing in swallowing and communication impairments. This role is part-time with a flexible schedule. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will report to the Manager of Interprofessional Practice and provide high-quality patient assessments and treatments. Focus will be on critical care, but you will also support departments such as Internal Medicine, Stroke, and Respirology as needed. This position emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and participation in onboarding and clinical education for recent staff. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive care for patients with communication disorders - Evaluate and treat swallowing impairments in acute care settings - Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team - Engage in the onboarding and education of staff members - Remain adaptable to the needs of patient coverage Requirements: - Requires 2 years of relevant acute care experience - Registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario - Preferred completion of MBSImP - Familiarity with video fluorographic swallow studies - Strong communication and teamwork skills Utilize your SLP expertise to provide outstanding care to patients at Michael Garron Hospital.
