SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - FULL STACK - INTERMEDIATE (Toronto)

Note: This position requires the consultant to work from the office location 5 days per week. Responsibilities Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities. Translate technical system specifications into working, tested applications, including developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data‑driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests. Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion, and migrations. Support CSC SharePoint and Power Tool version releases, infrastructure solutions, sustainment activities, urgent priorities, changing needs, time‑sensitive SharePoint infrastructure upgrades, and other sustainment activities supporting any CSC platforms overseen by the Cluster where annual work is required. Full Stack Skills Proficient with both front‑end and back‑end development, including database design/management and DevOps. Troubleshooting skills - 25%: Maintaining and enhancing SharePoint websites and applications; troubleshooting issues with SharePoint websites and applications. Soft Skills - 15%: Good communication and interpersonal skills. Public Sector - 10%: Ability to work closely with cluster and ministry clients; experience in public service as vendor representative or under contract with a government ministry or agency; knowledge of government IT policies and procedures.
