Senior Product Engineer - Full-Stack (Remote) (Toronto)

Today's productivity tools weren't built for AI. As a result, AI-generated work is often unreliable, hard to verify, and difficult to trust in professional settings. We've raised our inaugural round, backed by top-tier US investors with a track record in backing unicorn product-led companies and are building our founding team to support the public launch. We're looking for a Founding Product Engineer to work directly with the CEO on the core product experience. You'll own product areas end-to-end — from what the user sees to the data models and services underneath — and you'll have strong opinions about both. You'll shape how the product feels, how data moves through it, and how it scales as we grow. Own product areas vertically — from UI and interaction design through to APIs, database schemas, and backend services Build responsive, polished front-ends that feel fast and are easy to trust Design and implement data integrations that connect the product to the external world — imports, exports, sync, and third-party APIs Make pragmatic decisions about architecture and data models that keep the product moving without creating drag later Contribute to the overall quality, reliability, and feel of the product as the user base grows 2+ years of experience in product or full-stack engineering roles. You've shipped features users interact with daily and have strong instincts about what makes a product feel valuable. You're comfortable owning both the front-end experience and the systems behind it. Building responsive, component-driven front-ends Designing and working with APIs and data integrations Owning data models and backend services for product features Shipping in fast-moving, early-stage environments You have opinions about user experience and act on them. You're comfortable owning a feature from end to end — you don't hand off at the API boundary and you don't ship something that looks good but breaks under the surface.
