As our first Senior HR Business Partner, you'll play a foundational role in shaping how strategic people partnership shows up across the business. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of people and business strategy. You'll partner closely with senior leaders to solve real organizational challenges, elevate leadership capability, strengthen performance, and help scale a high-performing culture. you'll help define it. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on all people, team, and organizational matters Translate business priorities into thoughtful, practical people strategies Coach leaders to strengthen performance, leadership effectiveness, and accountability Anticipate talent risks, succession gaps, and capability needs before they become issues Build & Scale the HRBP Function Help design and establish a modern HRBP model at Isaac Create scalable frameworks, tools, and rhythms for high-quality business partnering Set the standard for what solid HRBP support looks like across the company Partner with HR Operations to ensure strategy translates into seamless execution Over time, support development of more junior HRBP capability as the team grows Talent, Performance & Leadership Development Drive clarity, consistency, and rigor in performance management Support succession planning and leadership development Identify high-impact interventions to improve performance Support leaders in designing effective team structures aligned to business goals Support leaders through periods of ambiguity, transformation, and scale Employee Relations (Senior / Sensitive Matters) Lead complex employee relations matters with integrity and sound judgement Balance legal, people, and business considerations thoughtfully Coach leaders to manage issues proactively and confidently 8-12+ years of progressive HR experience, including strong business partnering exposure influence and challenge senior leaders Experience building or shaping HR approaches, not just executing existing ones Strong business acumen - you connect people strategy to business outcomes You simplify complexity into clear, actionable direction You care about building something that scales and lasts You can enjoy 25 days paid vacation You'll have the opportunity for rapid learning and career growth through our training and development programmes Canada's Most Admired Corporate Cultures At Isaac our business is delivered by our people, and we are proud to say that we are an equal opportunity workplace that doesn't discriminate in employment on the basis of any protected grounds.
