Senior Finance Manager (Toronto)

Responsibilities Senior Finance Manager, reporting directly to the CFO with a track record of building successful tech finance teams – you will be the bridge between raw data and our company’s DNA. Translate financial data and turn spreadsheets into a compelling narrative of success. Own the intersection of strategy and execution. Build financial models and autonomously navigate year‑end audits and investor reporting. Challenge the status quo, optimize our software stack, and find efficiencies that allow us to scale. Identify key metrics, processes, and truths that have not yet been explored to become cornerstones of financial success. Build sophisticated financial models and KPIs that help the leadership team hold business leaders accountable to revenue targets through KPIs (sales funnels, financial forecasts, etc.). Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, manage expenses and cash flow. Communicate results, respectfully challenge business leaders to find operational efficiencies. Own the financial tech stack, identify and implement new tools, including AI efficiencies across the organization. Oversee financial results produced by external bookkeepers, compare them against forecasts, and deliver high‑impact month‑end packages to the leadership team. Autonomously manage the year‑end audit process from start to finish, including drafting key technical accounting papers. Contribute to drafting the financial narrative for investors and the Board of Directors, creating comprehensive quarterly reporting packages that drive strategic discussion. Deep experience in FP&A;, including sophisticated business cases and monthly statement analysis. Not just follow processes; build and improve them, implementing tools and systems needed to win. Turn raw data into an explicit, actionable story with minimal guidance. 6+years of relevant experience with a CPA/CA designation (required).
