Description
We are seeking a trustworthy, motivated and personable individual to help assist us in our daily operations. You will be joining a small but growing Toronto based wealth management firm. The position is suitable for someone who is a quick learner, organized, detail oriented, able to follow instructions and complete tasks independently. Salary range is $45,000 to $55,000 per annum commensurate with experience. The position is temporary full-time (1-year contract with the goal of becoming permanent thereafter if the term goes well). Work is to be carried out 100% on site at our office in Yorkville, Toronto, Ontario. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Greeting guests to the office and providing them with refreshments (coffee etc) - Preparing and tidying up the boardroom before and after meetings - Managing deliveries, handling mail, ensuring office supplies are restocked - Printing, scanning, collating and organizing documents for the team - Data entry and record keeping (digital and physical) - Handling phone calls on the main line and other general correspondence - Assisting with compiling data, filling forms and preparing reports Required Qualifications: - Strong English oral and written communication skills - Robust interpersonal skills, experience working in a team environment - Proficiency with computer systems (Microsoft Windows operating system) - Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel - Experience working with PDF files (creating, editing, filling) Helpful Qualifications and Experience: - Prior experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant - Demonstrated ability to work with clients/customers in any industry - Basic understanding of financial concepts and/or experience in the industry - Experience working with client account documentation/forms All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
