McDonalds Department Manager (Toronto)

As a Department Manager, you’ll be the leader supporting and encouraging your whole team. You’ll ensure an excellent operational and visual experience for your store, customers and colleagues, analyse sales, and create plans to optimise results and profits. Customer Sales & Profit You are responsible for the total OMNI customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to global guidelines. Represent yourself and the H&M; brand positively during customer interactions. Be aware of and take responsibility for your department's strengths, identifying commercial opportunities and acting on them. Establish and analyse sales and budget goals, creating plans to optimise results. Ensure customer service is provided in all areas of the store and that your team can actively promote and sell products to customers. Follow up that your team actively promotes our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in‑store sustainability initiatives. Ensure your team provides product and fashion knowledge and other relevant information during customer interactions. Responsible for recruitment, onboarding, performance management, up‑skilling and developing your team in‑store. Complete performance evaluations and succession planning to support business and team needs. Responsible for the team’s planning and scheduling. Ensure all procedures, routines and legal requirements in all areas of the store are followed. Participate in relevant onboarding and training processes for your role and future development. Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution Secure a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house including stockroom areas. Ensure high‑fashion quality, visual and commercial product presentation with good garment care. Achievement‑oriented, motivated by performance and competition, and truly customer‑centric.
