Manufacturing Technician (Toronto)

Position Summary The qualified individual will be responsible for various aspects of product assembly and testing. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to assemble and use complex instruments and assemblies. Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.65. Key Responsibilities - Visually inspect, assemble, and test cartridges or sub-assemblies using approved assembly procedures. - Follow all work instructions and procedures and record all production information as required. - Use a computer to perform tests, download information, or record test data. - Work with a microscope for extended periods of time. - Use and maintain hand tools and various types of equipment to assemble and test cartridges. - Maintain good hand‑eye coordination and reliable hands for delicate component assembly. - Comply with gowning protocols as required and maintain a clean, orderly, and organized work area. Education and Experience - Attention to detail. - Good written and oral communication skills. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Experience working with Gas Chromatography (GC) columns or microfluidics assembly (plus). - Experience in electronic or medical device assembly (plus).
