Larco Hospitality is looking for a creative, highly motivated intermediate interior designer to join our team! You will be contributing to all stages of project development at an intermediate level such as space planning, rendering, preparation of specifications, site measuring, preparing FF&E; packages, project documentation, and filing. Responsibilities - Work as part of a design team on projects that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation - Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, fabrics, equipment (FF&E;), base building finishes, lighting etc. - Generate plans, details, specifications, and material selections needed for construction - Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators - Contribute to multiple projects of moderate complexity from varying stages of completion within schedule and budget. - Be proactive in researching and learning design elements required for project. - Assist in pulling images and design idea together for presentation. - Ensure designs meet code compliance. - Be self-directed and highly motivated. Position Requirements - Skilled degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design - Minimum 5+ years experience in hospitality design - Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook) - Is able to work independently and in a team setting to meet deadlines.
