Responsibilities Join our CIBC Technology team as an Application Developer Co‑Op and contribute to our digital transformation by developing, testing, and delivering flexible banking solutions. Programming: Develop, code, and test computer programs for straightforward assignments; review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, and debugging. System Implementation: Participate in the technical design, development, and integration of cross‑functional, multi‑platform application systems. Coordination: Effectively interact with stakeholders, end users, business analysts, and technical resources to gather requirements and prepare design specifications as instructed by senior team members. Communication: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas and opinions involving research, interpretation, and assessment. Qualifications • Currently enrolled in post‑secondary education and returning to full‑time studies. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. • Digital savvy, eager to learn, and comfortable with evolving technologies. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team. • Willingness to perform attribute‑based assessments and skills tests (e.g., coding, simulation, French proficiency, MS Office) as part of the hiring process.
