Line Cook/Prep Cook (Old Toronto)

Job Summary We are seeking motivated and dedicated Line Cooks to join our agile restaurant team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth kitchen operations, maintaining food quality, and supporting the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, food safety, and working in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate. Responsibilities - Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards - Assist in cooking and meal preparation for various menu items - Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations - Support kitchen cleanliness by cleaning utensils, equipment, and workstations regularly - Ensure timely and efficient food service to meet customer expectations - Follow all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents or contamination - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods Qualifications - Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is a plus but not mandatory - Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety practices - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail - Strong teamwork and communication skills - Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and food safety - Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends if required Join our team as a Line Cook and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences through excellent food preparation and service.
