Become an integral part of DUCA's finance team as an Accounts Payable Accountant. This full time position involves overseeing invoice processing, ensuring accuracy, and meeting deadlines for timely payments. In this role, you will manage the accounts payable cycle, reconciling invoices, and contributing to month-end closing activities. A strong foundation in finance and accounting directs your success as you organize invoices, process payments, and maintain detailed records. You will analyze variances and streamline procedures, enhancing operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Organize invoices for productive processing • Process weekly payments via cheques, wires, and EFT • Reconcile vendor statements and address inquiries • Review employee travel and expense reports • Assist with annual audits and financial reconciliations Requirements: • 2+ years of accounts payable experience • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce preferred • Solid analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry • Ability to work under tight deadlines Utilize your accounting expertise to enhance DUCA’s financial operations and support its commitment to excellence.
