Company: Alpha Security Services Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time About the Role We are seeking a vigilant and professional Uniformed Loss Prevention Security Guard to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventing theft, ensuring the safety of staff and customers, and maintaining a secure workplace within retail and commercial locations. Key Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to detect suspicious activity. Prevent and deter theft, shoplifting, and other unlawful activities. Apprehend and detain offenders in a safe and skilled manner, following company and legal protocols. Complete detailed and accurate incident reports. Liaise with local law enforcement and store management when required. Provide a visible, customer-service-focused presence to deter potential incidents. Qualifications Valid Ontario Security Guard License. High school diploma or GED (Police Foundations or Law & Security an asset). Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or loss prevention preferred. Strong observation and communication skills. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Physically fit and able to stand/walk for long periods. Basic report writing and computer skills.
