Job Title:
Experienced Personal Lines Insurance Broker– Account Manager
Location:
Stouffville, Ontario– Hybrid, in office days required.
Position Type:
Full-Time, Permanent– Monday to Friday
Pay range:
$50,000 - $75,000 based on experience.
Position Overview We are looking for a Personal Lines Insurance Broker– Account Manager with proven experience handling personal insurance accounts. The ideal candidate will be RIBO licensed and possess a passion for excellent customer service. You’ll work closely with underwriters, portals and clients to manage new business, renewals, endorsements, claims assistance, and day-to-day servicing needs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and service a portfolio of personal lines accounts
Prepare applications, quotes, proposals, and binders for new and renewal business
Assist building the book of business through new sales
Process policy changes, certificates of insurance, and endorsements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files in the broker management system– Applied Epic
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly and professionally to client inquiries
Collaborate with producers and other team members to support business development and client retention
Stay informed on market trends, insurer guidelines, and industry best practices
Qualifications
RIBO licence
(Required)
Minimum
3 years of experience
in a Personal lines Broker/Account Manager role
Solid working knowledge of various insurance company portals and underwriting rules
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and broker management systems, knowledge of Applied Epic and Applied Rating Service is an asset
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
