Carpenter (Zephyr)

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our construction team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction projects, providing a solid foundation for a career in the trades. The ideal candidate for our team must be safety-conscious and capable of performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment. MUST DRIVE TO AND FROM SHOP Duties - Assist skilled carpenters with framing and finishing installation tasks using hand tools and power tools - Support installation and other exterior finishing projects - Operate hand tools and power tools - Conduct heavy lifting and material handling - Assist with woodworking tasks to meet project specifications - Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on site Qualifications not ALL mandatory but will determine pay RATE - Familiarity with hand tools, power tools - Ability to perform heavy lifting safely - Strong interest in carpentry, construction, restoration, and related trades - Valuable physical stamina with the ability to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions - Willingness to learn new skills such as vinyl welding , glass railing installation, Duradek install, and wood work deck building - Prior experience or training in construction or carpentry - MUST DRIVE TOO AND FROM SHOP LOCATED IN ZEPHYR(required) - MUST SPEAK ENGLISH(required) Must be safety-conscious with a strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude Pay: $23.00-$40.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2okudp
