Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our construction team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction projects, providing a solid foundation for a career in the trades. The ideal candidate for our team must be safety-conscious and capable of performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced workplace. MUST DRIVE TO AND FROM SHOP Duties Assist skilled carpenters with framing and finishing installation tasks using hand tools and power tools Support installation and other exterior finishing projects Operate hand tools and power tools Conduct heavy lifting and material handling Assist with woodworking tasks to meet project specifications Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on site Qualifications not ALL mandatory but will determine pay RATE Familiarity with hand tools, power tools Ability to perform heavy lifting safely Strong interest in carpentry, construction, restoration, and related trades Valuable physical stamina with the ability to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions Willingness to learn current skills such as vinyl welding , glass railing installation, Duradek install, and wood work deck building Prior experience or training in construction or carpentry MUST DRIVE TOO AND FROM SHOP LOCATED IN ZEPHYR(required) MUST SPEAK ENGLISH(required) Must be safety-conscious with a strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude Pay: $23.00-$40.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p5j2i
