Junior Graphic Designer (Uxbridge)

We are proud of our roots and to be privately Canadian owned and operated. What we’re looking for: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our Art Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, grow, and develop within a fast-paced, creative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundational skillset, take initiative, and be comfortable executing projects from concept through to completion. Responsibilities In this Junior Graphic Designer role, responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Creating marketing materials including flyers, brochures, ads, and signage · Assisting in the design and development of apparel graphics and product-related artwork · Supporting the team with layout, revisions, and final production files · Preparing files for print and production (including embroidery, screen printing, etc.) · Following projects through from initial concept to final output in a timely manner · Maintaining brand consistency across all designs and materials · Conducting research to stay current with design trends and industry standards · Collaborating with internal teams to meet deadlines and project requirements Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience · Diploma or Certificate in Graphic Design (or related field) · 1–3 years of relevant design experience (internships or co-op experience considered) · Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator (must be highly comfortable using both) · Advanced working knowledge of Mac-based systems · Ability to create clean, professional layouts for print materials · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills · Willingness to learn and take direction while contributing ideas · Positive attitude with a strong work ethic · Effective communication and teamwork skills · Must be legally eligible to work in Ontario · Must have reliable daily transportation Additional Requirements: · Portfolio is required and must demonstrate relevant design work (flyers, brochures, layouts, etc.) Other We are committed to an inclusive, barrier-free work environment and recruitment and selection processes.
