Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
MINIMUM 5 years working in a metal/metal parts or related manufacturing environment
Strong management, planning, and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize, and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget
Ability to work independently
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience managing a multi-cultural workforce
Responsibilities
Plan the production schedule
Manage the production process in accordance with Quality Management System
Meet or exceed KPI's
Establish standard labour hours and measure variances
Create, implement, and improve standard operating procedures
Manage the process to ensure first pass meets or exceeds quality standards
Calculate the labour and material costs for each project
Manage preventive maintenance schedules
Ensure compliance to established quality processes
Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs
Implement policies and goals across different departments
Enforce compliance health and safety standards and procedures in plant
Coach and develop employees
Supervise and motivate the production teams
Ensure the performance of the employees meets set standards
Participate in projects relating to manufacturing
Compensation
Salary: $85,000 - $92,000/year plus year end bonus
Shift: Day Shift (Mon - Fri) but must have flexibility for various shifts as needed, time in lieu of
