This role involves delivering specialized psychological care for patients facing acute and post-operative pain. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring that patient treatment considers both mental and physical health factors. Your input will shape the clinic's evolving psychology service while participating in research and education initiatives within a supportive workplace. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of patients - Provide individual and group therapy for pain management - Collaborate in clinical meetings and care planning - Mentor staff and educate clinical students - Develop and evaluate psychological treatment pathways Requirements: - Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with supervised internship - Two years of experience in a medical setting - Current registration with CHCPBC or eligibility within one year - Experience in research project design and implementation - Familiarity with evidence-based psychological practices Support patients through their recovery journey with your psychological skills at Providence Health Care.
