Our culture is rooted in: - Integrity – doing the right thing, always - Adaptability – thriving in fast-paced, evolving environments - Accountability – owning outcomes and delivering results - Collaboration – working together to succeed - Quality – taking pride in every detail The Opportunity - We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer in Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join our growing team. - This role is ideal for someone in an EPCM setting. - You will support the development of mechanical and pipeline systems while working closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. What You’ll Do Engineering & Design - Assist in developing 3D layouts, P&IDs;, and engineering drawings that meet project specifications - Support mechanical and pipeline system design, including equipment selection and material specification - Prepare and maintain equipment lists, datasheets, and technical reports Procurement & Project Support - Prepare and support Material Requisitions (MRs), RFQs, and RFPs - Develop Scopes of Work (SOWs) and assist with vendor communications - Support technical bid evaluations (TBEs) and contribute to procurement decisions - Assist in developing Bills of Materials (BOMs) Project Execution - Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver project solutions - Provide support to field and construction teams as required - Assist with project coordination, documentation, and deliverable tracking - Contribute to contract and change management activities What You Bring Experience - 2+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in a project environment - Experience working in EPC/EPCM projects is considered an asset - Exposure to midstream, downstream, or industrial sectors is preferred Technical Knowledge - Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as: - ASME B31.3, ASME B31.1 - ASME B16.5, ASME B16.34 - CSA Z662 - API 570 - Understanding of P&IDs;, equipment lists, datasheets, and mechanical systems Software & Tools Experience with: - AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Navisworks - Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word Education - Degree in Mechanical Engineering - Registered or eligible as an Engineer in Training (EIT) Professional Skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work effectively in collaborative, team-based environments - Highly organized with attention to detail - Adaptable and eager to learn Why Lauren At Lauren, you won’t just support projects — you’ll be part of them.
