Description
We are seeking a proactive, relationship-focused Customer Success & Compliance Coordinator to support and grow client relationships across the veterinary compliance and training space, as well as the funeral service and cemetery industry. This role helps ensure clients are successful using our training and compliance programs, supports onboarding and engagement efforts, and assists with account growth and long-term partnerships. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their customer success, account management, veterinary operations, funeral service, or compliance career who wants to grow within a fast-paced and mission-driven organization. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, eager to learn, and comfortable building relationships with veterinary teams, funeral homes, cemeteries, crematories, and related organizations. They should have an interest in workplace safety, compliance, and customer education, with the ability to quickly learn industry regulatory topics including OHSA/OSHA, DEA, controlled substances, workplace safety requirements, and regulated operational environments. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and clients to help organizations remain compliant, engaged, and supported while identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and program adoption. Key Responsibilities Customer Success & Client Support - Support onboarding and training for veterinary and funeral service clients using our compliance and safety programs. - Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned customer accounts. - Build positive relationships with practice managers, operations teams, compliance contacts, and business owners. - Assist clients with training engagement, documentation organization, and implementation questions. - Monitor customer activity, training completion, and engagement levels. - Help prepare renewal materials and support customer retention efforts. - Escalate complex compliance or customer concerns to senior team members when needed. - Maintain accurate customer notes, follow-ups, and account updates within internal systems. Account Growth & Client Engagement - Help identify opportunities for additional training, services, or multi-location program adoption. - Support rollout coordination for larger veterinary groups and enterprise customers. - Participate in customer check-ins and implementation meetings. - Maintain a customer-first approach focused on long-term relationships and successful outcomes. Training & Compliance Support - Assist with virtual onboarding sessions, training calls, and customer success meetings. - Help explain workplace safety and compliance requirements in a practical and approachable way. - Support customers with: - OHSA/OSHA workplace safety programs - DEA and controlled substance training requirements - Compliance documentation and training completion - Continue developing knowledge of veterinary, funeral service, and regulated-industry compliance standards. Partnerships & Industry Engagement - Support relationships with veterinary associations, funeral service organizations, vendors, and industry partners. - Assist with webinars, educational events, and customer engagement initiatives. - Participate in industry meetings, conferences, and association events as needed. Marketing & Educational Support - Collaborate with marketing on customer education initiatives such as: - Webinars - Newsletters - Resource materials - Blog content - Help gather customer feedback and success stories for case studies and campaigns. - Support customer communications related to new programs, updates, and training initiatives. Internal Collaboration - Work closely with customer success, compliance, marketing, and leadership teams. - Share customer feedback and recurring questions to improve services and processes. - Help improve onboarding materials, workflows, and customer support resources. Qualifications - 1–3 years of experience in customer service, customer success, account coordination, veterinary operations, funeral service, healthcare administration, or a related field. - Strong communication and relationship-building skills. - Interest in compliance, workplace safety, veterinary operations, funeral service, or regulated industries. - Ability to quickly learn industry regulations and explain information clearly to customers. - Comfortable leading or participating in Zoom/Teams meetings and virtual training sessions. - Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in a remote work setting. - Experience in veterinary clinics, funeral service, cemeteries, healthcare, training, compliance, or SaaS industries is an asset. - Experience creating presentations, training materials, or customer-facing communications is helpful but not required. - Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Communications, Animal Health, Funeral Service, or a related field preferred but not required. - French speaking is an asset but not required. - Registered Veterinary Technicians encouraged to apply.
