Manager for HLI Animal Research Operations (Vancouver)

The HLI Preclinical Services Manager provides direction for the largest core facility. You will oversee animal care operations, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to regulations while planning renovations within the facility. Your leadership will be vital for the overall productivity and effectiveness of research protocols.

Key Responsibilities: • Ensure compliance with CCAC regulations at all times • Manage renovations and spatial requirements efficiently • Oversee training and education for facility staff • Facilitate effective communication between teams and stakeholders • Review animal research applications for approval

Requirements: • Masters degree or equivalent with 4+ years of experience • Strong knowledge of animal research regulations • Effective organizational and supervisory abilities • Excellent communication skills across all levels • Capability to navigate complex projects under tight deadlines
