Sales Associate / Retail (Denman Location) Ayoub's Dried Fruits and Nuts is a retail specialty food chain specializing in dried fruits, nuts and related products. We are looking for someone reliable, organized and personable with experience in customer service. Providing exceptional service is key to us because regular customers are what makes us grow. Successful sales associates are friendly, outgoing and enjoy talking to people. The ideal candidate is someone who can bring top notch service and a pleasant shopping experience to customers who walk through our doors. Job Summary - Help the team achieve weekly sales objectives - Provide exceptional customer service - be engaging and informative - Greet every customer upon entering the store - Get to know the products - Get to know customers and help them choose the right products - Build lasting, friendly relationships with customers - Guide customers in their shopping experience and orient them in the right direction. - Ensure the store is presentable at all times - be clean and organized - Ensure the store is fully stocked - Make sure to follow general cleaning procedures and maintenance of products - Help hand out samples inside and outside the store when required - Able to learn how to prepare gift packages and gift items - Perform basic POS transactions and proper cash handling - Be comfortable with opening/closing if necessary Apply if: - You have EXPERIENCE in customer service! - You have PASSION for customer service and sales! - You are a believer in making HEALTHY life choices! - You ENJOY helping others, and creating a warm welcoming environment! - You are naturally OUTSPOKEN with great people skills! - You have a POSITIVE attitude!
