Our company is built on team ethos, being real and enjoying the journey together. Position Overview: We’re looking for an experienced and skilled Landscape Carpenter to join our team. You’ll be responsible for building high-quality outdoor structures such as decks, fences, pergolas, retaining walls, planters, and other custom wood and hardscape features. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret plans and drawings to build landscape structures to spec - Construct decks, pergolas, fences, privacy screens, gates, planters, outdoor kitchens, and other wood/structural features - Install structural components accurately, level, plumb, and square - Work with natural stone, concrete, and other materials as needed - Collaborate with designers, project managers, and crew to ensure quality and schedule - Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work site - Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment Requirements: - 2+ years experience in carpentry, preferably landscape or outdoor construction - Proficient in framing, finish carpentry, and reading construction drawings - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality - Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions - Valid driver’s license (and reliable transportation to job sites) Assets (Not Required but Nice to Have): - Experience with natural stone or masonry work - First Aid certification - Experience operating small machinery (e.g., skid steer, excavator) What We Offer: - Competitive pay (based on experience) - Opportunities for training and advancement - Supportive team culture - Variety of custom, high-quality projects - Work with quality tools and materials Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $21.37-$39.17 per hour Benefits: - Company events - Dental care - Extended health care Schedule: - Monday to Friday Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pa00g
