Pay $23/hr Purple Lotus Technologies is hiring 3 student interns to support growth, marketing, content creation, and outreach initiatives. These internships are designed to provide hands-on experience in digital marketing, strategy, social media, content creation, and startup operations within the mental wellness space. 1. Growth & Marketing Strategy Intern Support the development of Purple Lotus’ social media, growth, and sales strategy initiatives through research, analytics, competitor analysis, KPI development, and audience engagement research. Core Responsibilities · Conduct social media and competitor audits · Analyze content trends and engagement strategies · Research target audiences and platform opportunities · Develop KPI and measurement frameworks · Support campaign and growth strategy planning · Research sales and lead generation strategies for therapist outreach · Contribute to final recommendations and reporting 2. Social Media & Content Creation Intern Create engaging and brand-aligned content across social media platforms while supporting Purple Lotus’ content calendar, audience engagement, and conversion-focused marketing initiatives. Core Responsibilities · Create content ideas for reels, carousels, and posts · Draft captions, blog concepts, and UGC-style content · Assist with content calendars and campaign planning · Support content quality assurance and review · Research social media trends relevant to mental wellness · Support creation of content designed to improve engagement and user conversion · Collaborate on creative storytelling and brand messaging 3. Outreach & Community Partnerships Intern Support lead research, outreach strategy, community engagement, partnership development, and early-stage relationship-building initiatives that support company growth. Core Responsibilities · Research potential outreach opportunities and partnerships · Develop lead and outreach spreadsheets · Identify campus organizations and relevant communities · Support community engagement and marketing research · Assist with website and marketing QA reviews · Assist with identifying potential partnership and referral opportunities · Provide recommendations for future outreach initiatives Qualifications - Proficiency in Market Research and general Research skills - Marketing and Communication skills with an ability to engage diverse audiences - Experience or interest in Marketing Strategy development - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency with digital tools and platforms such as social media and data analysis tools is a plus - Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment - Passion for mental wellness and interest in technology-driven solutions - Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a program related to Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field Shared Project Deliverables · Social Media Audit and Competitor Review · Social Media, Growth, and Outreach Strategy Report · Content Calendar · Social Media Content Package · KPI and Measurement Framework · Marketing Content and Website QA Notes · Lead and Outreach Research Spreadsheet · Final Findings Presentation Purple Lotus may tailor responsibilities based on students’ interests, skills, and learning goals while keeping work aligned with the approved project scope. All public-facing materials, outreach activities, and website changes must be reviewed and approved by Purple Lotus before use. Preferred experience and qualifications: - Interest in digital marketing, startups, mental health, or business growth - Experience with social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, or YouTube - Familiarity with content strategy, analytics, competitor research, or audience engagement - Experience with Canva, Figma, Notion, Google Workspace, or similar tools is an asset - Solid communication, organization, and research skills - Interest in growth strategy, outreach, or early-stage sales processes is considered an asset - Previous experience through school projects, clubs, internships, freelance work, or personal projects Eligibility Requirements · Enrolled at an eligible Canadian post-secondary institution and taking at least one course during the current or upcoming term. · Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person legally authorized to work in Canada. · Physically located in Canada for the full project duration. · Not an international student. Mentorship & Support · Skills training and mentorship in marketing, content strategy, startup operations, and digital growth. · Hands-on support and guidance throughout project execution. · Access to tools, resources, and collaborative feedback.
