Responsibilities
Work in conjunction with the Property Management Department, contractors and other staff to ensure buildings, suites and common areas are maintained in a“A” Class condition. Perform regular inspections to identify and report deficiencies such as missing door stops, plumbing leaks, damaged walls, damaged doors, appliance issues, and other maintenance concerns. Assist resident caretakers and onsite staff with tasks including shoveling snow, minorcleaning after trades have conducted work, moving appliances, cleaning out roof drains, and removing and cleaning up graffiti. Conduct painting tasks as outlined by management, including common areas, suite entry doors, door jambs, and exterior areas such as patio decks and siding. Perform minor plumbing, electrical, tile setting, grouting, carpentry and cabinetry repairs, and all finishing work required for maintenance tasks. Conduct quality assurance walkthroughs of units prior to tenant occupancy and proactively replace light bulbs throughout residential buildings as assigned. Procure necessary supplies and materials with purchase orders and management approval, safely store tools during and after work, and fulfill any other duties as required by management.Qualifications
Minimum of two years experience as a Maintenance Technician. Ability to work independently with a positive attitude. Consistently maintains a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with coworkers and tenants. General maintenance skills and ability to provide own tools and materials. Ability to check in with management daily at agreed-upon times.Benefits
