TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Structural Design Supervisor role to work for one of Canada’s top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry. Responsibilities Verifying the work of other designers as needed. Collaborating with the Lead Engineer and cross-functional teams. Conducting bulk material take-off assessments and compiling tabulations. Monitoring project timelines to ensure timely delivery of outputs. Examining drawings and vendor documentation to ensure they meet project specifications and proactively resolving any discrepancies. Overseeing, delegating tasks, and providing direction to project designers. Complying with industry standards, codes, and departmental procedures. Perform additional tasks as required. Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and 20 years of experience. Minimum of five years of experience in S3D modeling and other CADD software. Proven ability to oversee team performance and assign tasks to meet project milestones. Understanding of material costs and availability. Detail-oriented with effective time management skills. Knowledge and experience in structural design principles. Robust communication skills for interacting with management, colleagues, clients, and contractors.
