Enhance your HR skills as a People&Scheduling Intern with Canucks Sports&Entertainment. This role focuses on recruitment, scheduling, and payroll within a diverse team environment.
This internship, running from July 2026 to March 2027, offers current university students or recent graduates a hands-on experience in human resources. Interns will actively participate in all recruitment and onboarding processes, manage scheduling for event staff, and assist with HR initiatives. There is an expectation for flexibility as evening and weekend work may be required to support staff logistics.
Key Responsibilities:• Administer staff scheduling and deployment for events • Process payroll and manage timesheet requirements • Source candidates and manage job descriptions for part-time roles • Oversee logistics for job fairs, including scheduling and communication • Maintain uniform inventory recordsfor new hires
Requirements:• Final year university student or recent graduate in a related field • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Professionalism and reliability in all interactions • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed • Commitment to company values: discipline, respect, excellence, attitude, and mindset
