Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to support our team. This role is designed to provide practical, hands‑on exposure to engineering work in a collaborative and supervised environment. This internship provides an opportunity to gain real‑world experience while building technical skills in a supportive learning environment.Responsibilities
Assist with defining, analyzing, and solving basic engineering problems under guidance Support research and technical analyses that contribute to internal engineering studies and reports Help gather information from on‑site field assessments and assist with report preparation Participate in supervised site visits to construction projects across British Columbia and CanadaWork closely with Engineers and internal project teams to support ongoing projects Receive training in Building Code requirements and the fundamentals of fire engineering Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Communication&Analytical Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication abilities; analytical mindset with keen attention to detail. Ability to document observations clearly and concisely for senior consultants and project managers. Organizational&Time Management:
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate field notes, and prioritize deliverables in a fast‑paced environment. Professional Attributes:
Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a proactive approach to learning. Ability to work collaboratively with experienced consultants and adapt to feedback. Physical&Mental Job Qualifications
Must be able to work in person in our Vancouver, BC, Canada office on a hybrid schedule. Benefits
