Physician Clinical Associate in Pediatric Care (Vancouver)

BC Children’s Hospital invites applicants for a Pediatrician or Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist position. This full-time role focuses on providing compassionate patient care to children in need. In this role, you will work closely within the Division of Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplantation, delivering direct patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include managing patient treatment, conducting necessary procedures, and partaking in rounds with a team of experienced physicians. Additionally, you will play a role in teaching and mentoring learners, enriching their educational journey in pediatric care. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver direct patient care with a focus on quality - Participate in team rounds and clinical meetings - Conduct procedures as necessary for patient treatment - Educate and supervise medical learners - Foster strong relationships with families and health professionals Requirements: - Licensure eligibility with CPSBC and Pediatric Royal College exams - Completed training in Pediatric Hematology and/or Oncology is a plus - Excellent communicator with robust clinical skills - Dedication to continuous learning in pediatric medicine - Availability for weekend and overnight responsibilities Support children's health and development as part of the esteemed team at BC Children’s Hospital.
