You interact with customers, motivate your team, and make important business decisions while keeping these values in mind. Responsibilities - Recruit and train your management team and staff on brand, product, and service. - Collaborate with your team to exceed daily sales goals and deliver a unique, inclusive customer experience. - Educate customers and staff on Lush values and positions on animal testing, fresh cosmetics, ethical buying, vegetarian, handmade, and naked packaging. - Demonstrate strong business acumen by developing and executing business plans that align with corporate strategy to improve KPIs and achieve sales goals. - Coach and develop your team through coaching behaviors, constructive feedback, and development plans. - Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging by prioritizing DEIB training and initiatives. - Use data to analyze performance, engage staff, and create action plans to improve engagement and performance. - Form and manage a diverse team with transparency and equity in hiring, promotion, and career development. - Maintain shop compliance, training, and company standards for time and attendance, product integrity, respectful workplace, anti-harassment, health and safety, and communication. - Manage stock and inventory to ensure the right products are in store at the right times and manage ordering within budget. - Execute merchandising plans to improve KPIs and train the team to take pride in a clean, beautiful work workplace. - Schedule staff to peak times and ensure accurate payroll while staying within the labor budget. Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years managing in a retail environment. - Strong HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution, and performance management. - Excellent listening and communication skills. - Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent organization and time management skills. - Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills. - Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business. - Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed. Preferred: - Experience with consultation-based customer service models. - Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback. - Strong record of developing retail staff careers. - Proficient in Excel, Microsoft suite, and adaptable to other systems as required. - Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training. - Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.
