As Area Lead or Lead on assigned projects, this role drives competitive execution, delivers unmatched value, and applies advanced engineering techniques to complex assignments. Responsibilities

Apply cost‑competitive execution techniques to develop the most cost‑effective total project solution. Develop and review specifications, including design criteria. Participate in activities related to equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting. Perform and check calculations, specify equipment, and solve moderate to complex engineering problems.Demonstrate basic understanding of structural behavior and design principles. Review vendor equipment documentation for compliance and resolve discrepancies. Analyze complex problems and make independent recommendations in line with organizational and project objectives. Apply strong technical skills in structural engineering, including large structural steel and concrete, heavy foundations, seismic engineering, and dynamic analysis.Perform hand and computer calculations for foundations, concrete, and steel structures. Analyze complex structures for wind and seismic loading. Conduct dynamic analysis and design of structures supporting vibrating equipment. Create and analyze computer models of structures. Oversee procurement and construction aspects of engineering.Review and manage vendor, intergroup, and squad drawings. Check engineering and fabricator drawings. Manage and lead a small project. Qualifications

Accredited four‑year degree or global equivalent in engineering and at least ten years of work‑related experience. Professional certification or registration required for applicable field. Minimum four years of experience in mining projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.Technical knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines. Detail‑oriented and able to manage time effectively. Professional registration and membership in technical societies preferred. Advanced knowledge of discipline codes, standards, and commercial availability of materials.Ability to estimate effort hours and forecast staffing. Experience managing large projects, including set‑up, schedule development, progress reporting, and close‑out. Intermediate proficiency with office software (word processing, e‑mail, spreadsheets, presentations). Preferred Qualifications

Experience with structural steel and concrete design, seismic analysis, and dynamic analysis of structures. Proficiency with computer modeling and analysis tools. Knowledge of procurement and construction project management. Salary Range: $111,000.00 - $215,000.00
