Vancouver Tunnel Inspector Construction Support

Support a major construction project in Vancouver as a Tunnel Inspector focused on full-time inspection services and collaboration with engineering teams. This role demands expertise in underground excavation and construction quality assurance.

We are looking for a motivated Tunnel Inspector with 5–10 years of relevant experience in underground construction. You will work closely with senior engineers, mentor juniors, and oversee critical tasks such as geological mapping, backfill grouting, and steel pipe installation. Your reports will ensure project safety and quality while managing site-based dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:• Inspect multiple elements during tunnel excavation and construction • Provide field engineering support for mechanically excavated tunnels • Prepare daily shift reports on safety and project progress • Collaborate with engineering and contracting teams for project delivery• Mentor junior team members and support their development

Requirements:• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (asset) • 5–10 years underground construction experience required • Knowledge of design implementation on site • Strong communication and teamwork skills essential • Willingness to work night shifts and extended hours
