Tunnel Engineer-In-Training in Vancouver

Join our Vancouver team as a Tunnel/Geostructural Engineer-In-Training (EIT) and work on diverse local and global projects. Collaborate with senior engineers to conduct geotechnical analysis and support design efforts. In this role, you will assist with geotechnical analysis for tunnels and other structures, contributing to engineering calculations, design reports, and more. You'll gain hands-on experience while learning about soil mechanics and structural behavior through practical site oversight and data interpretation. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in geotechnical and geostructural analysis and design • Support field reviews and site investigations • Develop ground models and establish engineering parameters • Complete technical specifications and design calculations • Build numerical models to assess soil-structure interaction Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Structural Engineering • Eligible to become an Engineer-in-Training in BC • 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience • Proficiency in analysis software like Plaxis or SAP2000 • Solid communication and problem-solving skills Support complex infrastructure projects while advancing your engineering journey in Vancouver.
