A team where everyone makes play happen. Position Software Engineer – 12 month TFT Role within Development and Release Engineering (DRE). The role supports The Sims franchise and is hybrid remote/in‑office. You will report to the DRE Technical Director. Responsibilities Work with internal customers to design and implement automated workflows. Monitor solutions to ensure they run as expected, debug and fix issues promptly while communicating with partners. Identify gaps and toil within workflows and implement automated, scalable, reliable, and repeatable solutions. Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a software engineer. Proficiency in object‑oriented or scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, C#, Java, or Ruby. Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Experience with source control management tools (e.g., Perforce, Git). Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Ansible, Terraform, or Packer). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP). Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with secrets management tools (e.g., Vault, AKeyless). Experience with artifact repositories (e.g., Artifactory, NPM, NuGet). Experience with virtualization environments and tools (e.g., VMs, vSphere). Experience with data and observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana, Open Telemetry). Familiarity with commercial game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal). Agile familiarity. Strong collaboration skills. Pay Transparency – North America Compensation And Benefits Pay ranges proposed for this role in British Columbia (depending on location such as Vancouver vs. Victoria): $104,500 – $142,800 CAD. Benefits In Canada, employees receive vacation (3weeks per year to start), 10days per year of sick time, and extended health, dental, and vision coverage.
