About the Role Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Manager, People + Operations is a hands‑on, cross‑functional leader responsible for ensuring the smooth, effective day‑to‑day functioning of the organization across people, operations, and governance. The role leads core people‑operations functions such as HR administration, recruitment support, onboarding, performance processes, and workplace culture initiatives, while also providing operational leadership by managing key administrative systems, engaging in cross‑departmental projects, and ensuring organizational policies, procedures and governance practices are current, compliant and aligned with strategic priorities. Responsibilities and Qualifications - Lead and coordinate people‑operations functions across the organization. - Streamline workflows and strengthen organizational effectiveness, collaborating with teams across the organization. - Oversee HR administration, recruitment support, onboarding, performance processes and workplace culture initiatives. - Provide operational leadership, managing key administrative systems and cross‑departmental projects. - Ensure policies, procedures and governance are current, compliant and aligned with strategic priorities. - Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in operations, human resources, or a similar cross‑functional role leading teams and managing department‑level functions; a CPHR designation or equivalent is an asset. - Bachelor’s degree required; an equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. - Excellent communication, interpersonal and client‑service skills with the ability to work effectively across teams to set goals, resolve issues and support decision‑making. The salary for this position is $82,000 - $90,000 annually.
