About This Team The Enterprise Automation team elevates the organization by removing repetitive, manual work and enabling teams to operate more efficiently through intelligent automation. We deliver scalable, secure, and well‑governed automation solutions across the enterprise, primarily using UiPath and the Microsoft Power Platform, while actively evolving toward agentic automation and AI‑assisted workflows. Our team works closely with business partners, architects, and platform teams to design, build, and support automations that span systems, departments, and geographies. We invest in Agentic Automation, including early use of UiPath AI/Agent capabilities and Copilot Studio, with a strong emphasis on responsible enablement, governance, and real business value. Core Responsibilities As a Platform Engineer, you will design and build internal developer platforms and core infrastructure independently that enable engineering velocity and operational excellence. You will engineer Kubernetes platforms and container orchestration solutions, build CI/CD tooling and delivery pipelines, and create self‑service capabilities that allow application teams to provision infrastructure and deploy services safely and efficiently. You will build and deploy observability platforms, conduct infrastructure validation and disaster recovery testing, respond to platform incidents, collaborate with application engineering teams, and mentor junior engineers. Select Responsibilities Include Engineer Kubernetes platforms and container orchestration solutions including cluster architecture, pod networking, and service mesh. Build and maintain CI/CD and delivery tooling to standardize build, test, release workflows and engineering artifact management. Create self‑service platforms including APIs, templates, and portals that allow application teams to provision infrastructure quickly and safely. Build and deploy observability platforms including logging infrastructure, metrics pipelines, distributed tracing systems, alerting platforms, and monitoring dashboards. Lead incident response for platform issues including root cause analysis, mitigation, and implementing preventive measures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience. 4-8 years of experience designing platform solutions, implementing infrastructure as code, and building scalable distributed systems, or equivalent. Proven experience designing and implementing complex platform solutions with self‑service capabilities; track record of leading design discussions on platform automation approaches presenting trade‑offs. Experience engineering Kubernetes platforms and container orchestration solutions for production workloads; demonstrated ability to design cloud infrastructure abstractions enabling application teams to deploy without deep infrastructure knowledge. Experience creating self‑service platforms including APIs, templates, and portals allowing teams to provision and deploy safely; familiarity with designing platform interfaces focused on developer usability and productivity. Solid experience designing and operating solutions on Microsoft Azure, including core compute, networking, and storage services. Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar. Authorization Authorization to work in Canada is required for this role. Compensation And Perks Package The typical hiring range for this position is $112,200 - $147,200 annually.
