Summary Shipping processes are monitored, issues identified and addressed to ensure shipments of products meet customer requirements. Communication with the various departments on low inventory, late deliveries. Perform initial investigation in Distribution related customer complaints. Assign and distribution work to a group of 3 to 8 employees. Overall responsibilities - All shipments leaving the plant are accompanied by the required documentation. (ie Bill of ladings, packing list, C of A or C of C, pro-forma, MSDS); - Shipping processes are monitored and issues identified and addressed to ensure shipments of products meet customer requirements; - Inquiries to the shipping office are attended to in a prompt and efficient manner; - Distribution activities are executed in conformance with the Plant Safety Regulations; - Ensure documentations required for shipping goods are processed on a timely and accurate manner; - Ensuring TDG regulations are respected at all times when handling, loading or unloading products; - Follow-up with Carriers to ensure shipments are expedited as per the Shipping Log; Qualifications - High School Diploma or 5 years progressively more responsible experience in a similar distribution workplace. - Bilingual with skill for communicating in a warehouse environment; - Well developed written communication skills for reporting, Distribution proposals etc.; - Skills with MS-EXCEL.
