We are looking for a Class 5 box truck driver for occasional on‑call assignments. The role involves deliveries and transport tasks both in long‑distance routes (up to 600 km/day) and urban environments. Shifts start early in the morning from Vaudreuil‑Dorion. Responsibilities - Safely and professionally operate a Class 5 cube truck - Perform deliveries, pickups, and transport in both city and regional areas - Complete full pre‑trip inspections and document findings - Maintain an accurate logbook / driver log - Conduct vehicle checks before and after each assignment - Provide courteous service to clients and partners - Assist with light loading/unloading when required - Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures Requirements - Valid Class 5 driver’s license - Experience driving a cube truck - Experience with pre‑trip inspections and logbook entries - Comfortable with long‑distance driving and urban traffic - Available for early‑morning departures - Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently - Physically able to handle cargo Assets - Retirees welcome - Knowledge of Québec road networks - Qualified and customer‑focused attitude Conditions - On‑call position, based on operational needs - Occasional assignments, sometimes on short notice - Compensation based on experience Work Location: On the road Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2otuoc
