Maintenance Worker (Vaughan)

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. The Maintenance Person will work proactively to identify issues and perform timely repairs, contributing to the overall smooth operation of our organization. Duties - Perform routine preventive maintenance on the facility equipment, glass production lines, and CNC machinery - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues with CNC glass cutting, edging, and processing equipment - Conduct daily inspections of manufacturing areas, conveyor systems, and support infrastructure - Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns to minimize production downtime - Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in a manufacturing environment - Assist with installation, calibration, and optimization of new CNC and glass manufacturing equipment Skills - Previous experience in industrial maintenance is preferred, preferably in manufacturing or glass industry - Strong problem-solving skills - Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to maintenance work - Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems commonly used in glass manufacturing - Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals and CNC code - Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery safely and effectively - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail - Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety protocols - Robust knowledge of CNC machinery, setup, operation, troubleshooting, and basic programming/parameter adjustments for CNC glass processing equipment Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: - Dental care - Flexible schedule - On-site parking - Paid time off - Vision care Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2na6df
