DIRECTOR OF PROCUREMENT Concord, ON | Full-Time | Onsite We’re partnering with a growing distribution business in the building products / MRO sector that is looking to hire a hands-on Director of Procurement to lead both the strategic and operational side of procurement. The ideal candidate will bring 7–10+ years of relevant procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or inventory management experience within a distribution, wholesale, building materials, industrial supply, or MRO setting. The successful candidate will oversee procurement strategy while remaining closely connected to day-to-day purchasing operations and inventory flow across the business. Key areas of focus include: - Procurement Leadership & Process Improvement - Forecasting & Replenishment Oversight - Vendor Negotiations & Supplier Management - Purchasing Team Leadership - ERP & Procurement Analytics - Inventory-Driven Purchasing Strategy - Cost Savings & Operational Efficiencies Strong ERP and systems experience is important for this role, particularly within inventory-driven distribution environments. Experience with procurement, replenishment, forecasting, or inventory planning systems will be highly regarded. Exposure to SAP or SAP Business One is considered an asset.
