Maintenance Associate- Building -12 Hour Shift (Vaughan)

Position Summary The responsibilities include repair and preventive maintenance of building equipment such as shrink wrappers, automatic freezer doors, HVAC units, UPS, lighting, garbage compacting equipment, fire doors, emergency generator, fire alarm systems, MHE, overhead doors, dock plates, trailer restraints, racking, garbage handling equipment, and other facility components. What You'll Do Perform repair and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment. Support CMMS by managing and prioritizing maintenance requests, logging work orders, and tracking equipment maintenance history. Promote a culture of health and safety within the team and adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. Follow equipment manufacturer guidelines and company procedures to ensure all tasks are performed to the highest standard. Adhere to provincial laws, company training standards, and regulatory requirements when performing duties. Ensure compliance with lock‑out/tag‑out procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with maintaining the proper inventory of maintenance supplies, parts, and equipment. Assist with painting and refurbishing various parts of the building, including racks, floor lines, doors, walls, and other surfaces to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Maintain high productivity and cleanliness standards in accordance with company policies and procedures. Operate walk‑behind and ride‑on scrubbers to maintain floor cleanliness. Maintain cleanliness around the warehouse, including emptying garbage bins regularly. Use a pressure washer to clean plastic totes, bins, and wooden skids. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized workplace across the facility. Support additional maintenance duties as assigned. Pay range for this position is $27.47 to $31.56 per hour, determined based on relevant experience. Minimum Qualifications Age 18 or older.
