Building Maintenance Technician (Vaughan)

Position: Residential Maintenance Technician Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year (depending on experience) Location: Greater Toronto Area, ON Type: Full-Time | Permanent Industry: Residential Property Management / Real Estate Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Residential Maintenance Technician to support a portfolio of residential properties across the GTA. This hands-on role is responsible for completing tenant service requests, performing general repairs, coordinating vendors when required, and helping ensure buildings remain secure, well-maintained, and operating efficiently. Ideal candidates will have strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service skills, and experience working within residential environments. Requirements: - Previous experience in residential maintenance, handyman services, building maintenance, or a similar role - Strong hands-on experience with general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic building maintenance - Experience responding to tenant maintenance requests and completing work orders in a timely manner - Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot, and prioritize multiple tasks independently - Experience coordinating external contractors and service providers when needed - Comfortable conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities - Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with tenants - Experience maintaining maintenance logs, records, and work order systems - Valid driver’s license required - Organized, dependable, and able to work independently Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ob25g
